Kwankwaso Named on U.S. Terror List+U.S. Sends 200 Troops To Nigeria+Fubara Calls Wike His Oga
YU.S. Congressmen Riley Moore and Chris Smith have called for targeted sanctions against Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Miyetti Allah and groups they describe as Fulani ethnic militias, citing Nigeria’s failure to prosecute jihadist actors and reviving debate around Sharia’s 2000 introduction in Zamfara.
In a similar vein, the Pentagon will deploy about 200 additional U.S. troops to Nigeria to provide training, intelligence and technical support against Islamist militants, stressing they will not take part in combat operations.
