Adams Oshiomhole has criticised former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party's Peter Obi, questioning their leadership records and suitability to lead Nigeria. His comments have sparked fresh reactions within the political space.

Meanwhile, Vice President Kashim Shettima stole the spotlight at an APC rally with an energetic dance entrance alongside party supporters. He also defended the Tinubu administration's economic reforms, insisting that the policies are necessary to reposition the country.

In another development, David Umahi has described himself as the Lion of the South-East, urging the region to support President Tinubu's re-election bid. He also pledged that Ebonyi State would deliver 1.3 million votes for the president in 2027.

Finally, in entertainment news, the Africa International Film Festival, AFRIFF, has opened in Lagos, bringing together filmmakers and international stars including Meagan Good and Djimon Hounsou. The festival will showcase 130 films and runs until November 7.
