Why?

Reports suggest that France and political circles close to former U.S. President Donald Trump see him as “dangerous” to Western interests. He has been accused of building a powerful Sahel alliance with Mali and Niger — a regional bloc that some fear could become a parallel organization strong enough to challenge the African Union itself.
