Why Burkina Faso Stopped Buying Armoured Vehicles From Abroad
Burkina Faso says it has built nearly 300 "Nanga" armoured vehicles at home in about ten months, and it has stopped ordering armoured vehicles from abroad. In the same month, Mali and Algeria exchanged prime-ministerial visits after 15 months of rupture.
This video explains what changed between Bamako and Algiers (ambassadors back in July, Abdoulaye Maïga in Algiers, Sifi Ghrieb in Bamako, Goïta's planned visit). It shows what a Nanga really is and why Traoré says foreign vehicles weren't built for Sahel ambushes. It covers the secret Faso Armored factory and the risks of secrecy, and why both stories point to the same AES strategy: fewer single masters.
