Hey guys, it's Weekly Wendy! Born in the Netherlands, but in 2015 I decided to move to Ukraine, learn the language, and get to know my Ukrainian roots. My Ukrainian family started off very humble, building themselves up starting from nothing, to a small home and driving a Lada Samara, all the way up to the top.
Our lives changed drastically since February 24th, like many Ukrainians and foreigners that live there.
This song is a tribute to my cousin, which passed away a few weeks before the war started. He loved his cars, had a passion for motorbikes and he definitely loved to drive fast in them.

This song is not only a tribute to my Ukrainian family, of course, it's a tribute to everyone with some sort of connection to Ukraine; to the brave men and women currently fighting for freedom in Ukraine, the ones living there daily, the ones we lost in this battle for our freedom and independence.

The song may sound superficial, but the story behind it is personal.
