Lesotho is marking 60 years of independence.

A diamond jubilee milestone celebrated in grand style in the capital, Maseru.

Setsoto Stadium was a sea of colour, music and culture as Basotho and visitors gathered to mark the Kingdom's historic anniversary.

The keynote speaker, King Mswati III of Eswatini, praised Basotho for their resilience and tenacity in the face of adversity.
