Dangote Refinery is a major milestone, but it is not yet transformative because Nigeria’s stock exchange remains what it is and has not matured enough to drive the country’s economic dynamics.
In terms of impact, Dangote can be compared to what NVIDIA represents to America and the rest of the world, particularly when considering what Dangote’s IPO could mean for Nigeria.
It is one company that appears to have broken new ground in difficult infrastructure and petrochemical spaces.
