Clothing donations sold on for profit in East Africa
All over the developed world, people donate used clothes to charities to be distributed to the poorest people in underdeveloped countries. But in Kenya, many of these clothes are intercepted and sold on at markets, fuelling a huge trade in "mitumba" which some defend as being a source of livelihood for thousands.
